With the holidays quickly approaching, I hope many of you will consider giving your children the gift language and literacy this year with some bilingual books.
To help you out, Candlewick Press has graciously offered four books for me to giveaway. FOUR lucky LBBC readers will receive a copy of one of Leslie's Patricelli's board books, Higher! Higher!/¡Más alto! ¡Más alto! and The Birthday Box/Mi caja de cumpleaños. These books are written for children ages 2-5, but may be enjoyed by older children learning a second language. THE GIVEAWAY

The winner will be chosen using Random.org and will be notified via email. Only U.S. and CANADIAN residents are eligible to enter this giveaway.

She is getting the coolest gift, we fly to Mexico on Christmas day (okay, she'll probably get more presents, but that's the best gift I can see her). She gets to meet her bisabuelos, tios, tias, and too many cousins to count.

We are planning on giving our kids spanish books and cd's. Also they have starting to enjoy movies, so we will get one with the spanish track...maybe some cars and balls too :) esanchez68@hotmail.com

My son is getting the toys he wants such as the iron man truck, but he is also getting educational toys. I got him a leapster. he wanted a nintendo DS, but after explaining to him that he can learn with the leapster he agreed to get that one.

DO TO THE ECONOMY MY KIDS WILL GET MUCH MORE SIMPLE THINGS INSTEAD OF ELECTRONIC DEVICES OR GAMES. GOOD OL BOARD GAMES NEVER HURT ANYONE. AND MA WANTS A SIPPY CUP. AND MY SON RAFA WNATS A STEP STOOL
